POP-APP. International Centre on Interactive Books

L’International Centre on Interactive Books si propone di attivare in modo organico e coordinato, sul territorio nazionale e in collegamento con le analoghe istituzioni internazionali coinvolte, studi, ricerche, attività di conservazione e valorizzazione del bene culturale costituito dai libri animati di interesse storico, artistico, scientifico e didattico, affacciandosi alle più recenti e significative esperienze della multimedialità e al libro d’artista.

The International Centre on Interactive Books aims at activating studies, research, conservation and enhancement activities, on the national territory and in connection with other similar international institutions, on animated books considered as a precious cultural heritage. Their historical, artistic, scientific and educational interest can be a source of inspiration for today’s digital experimentations and in the field of artist books.

Parte integrante del Centro sarà la rivista online «Journal of Interactive Books» che raccoglierà saggi e studi originali e che nel primo numero, previsto per l’autunno 2021, pubblicherà gli atti del convegno.

The online «Journal of Interactive Books» will be an important aspect of the activity of the Centre. It will collect original essays and studies, beginning with the proceedings of the conference in the first issue, scheduled in autumn 2021.
